I didn't like these shoes as the leather seems to be of inferior quality. I don't know if it was just a bad batch of leather or if the tanning was done poorly. In any case, the skin looks thin, cracked and discolored when I first put it on (just tried it on). I know that skin takes on an "aged" appearance, which usually makes it look more natural and attractive. The skin of this shoe was riddled with creases, tears, and greatly altered color. Unfortunately I found that too extreme; I'm sorry as these shoes have a nice style and were initially quite comfortable.
