I replaced P/N 333 part number 802574 - VALVES, Magneto. First, it doesn't match the picture. Yes, he went to my mower and worked. There are no extra screws, spacers or rubber caps for the end of the spark plug wire. The pressed-in pin on the side is not copper like the others. My problem is that the resistance is 5.8k ohms. Most guides on the web say the resistance should be between 2 and 5k ohms. Above 5k the spark will not be strong enough. My old one was at 4.8K and gave me almost no spark. There are no resistors listed in the original manual. So I contacted the seller. They wanted a reference number for my order before notifying me of the resistance. I sent it and explained that Revane prevented me from attaching an order to a message. They replied that the part is fine and meets OEM specs. If I needed a refund, I had to go through Revain. I still have no idea what the resistance should be for this part. Will it burn out in a year? I have no idea.
