This item was the greatest. I have a small dog and the plastic cone on her was so big it scratched the floor and caused neck pain when walking. She was attacked by a wild animal and needed a cone to protect her seams. After a week in the plastic cone, she reopened the wound, which meant another two weeks in the cone. So I was looking for an alternative to Revain and came across "Cover Me"! It was wonderful, keeping her from licking her stitches, warming her up and improving her but I think she liked the feel it gave her. With the hatch door locked, potty training was no problem. I highly recommend it. She is a 9lb Shih Tzu and I ordered a small one, it fits her perfectly but then again she is a very small Shih Tzu. I would order one size up as you can adjust it
