The filter is broken.
I've been a kor user since they launched the Nava bottle kickstarter. I love the filters and they work but over time they should break down and turn the inside of the spout black and it looks like mold. Makes a drink out of it in no time. Yes, I have a thin bottle brush. Yes, I wash regularly. It's black fancy charcoal or something like what's supposed to be embedded in the rubber.
