Review on JBL Endurance PEAK wireless headphones, black by Manaporn A Skuljaroe ᠌

The product disappointed, does not meet the promises.

I really wanted headphones with maximum functionality. So that it was possible in the shower / pool with music, so that they would not die under water, they were well attached to the ear, they could be both a headset and headphones, with a decent charge and a case. And suddenly I find this model. Everything was just perfect: the quality of materials, assembly, performance. With touch control, you need to get used to it, because. the available instructions on the stickers do not give an exact description of how to operate the headphones. But then the headphones suddenly turned off, then again and again. For a new inclusion, it was necessary to remove the right earpiece, connect the magnets of the bow and body, then disconnect, and put it on again. And so every 5 minutes without playing music. At first he sinned against marriage, because this was not mentioned in the instructions. And only later on the English version of the JBL website I read the company's answer to the question of the same indignant buyer. JBL specifically built in such a function that when there is a five-minute break in listening, the headphones themselves turn off. (they say energy saving) Those. JBL positions the headphones as headphones / headset, but builds in a time limit and the headphones cease to be a headset, because. they can disconnect moments before the phone rings. You will not be able to insert the right (leading) earphone, drive a car / walk and answer calls. And that would be half the trouble if turning them back on didn't require removing the right earpiece from your ear. The earpiece stays on the ear perfectly, but that's why it stays in such a way that putting it on is not an instant process, you also need to be distracted by it. "One touch" will not work. A JBL car would stall after a minute of parking at a traffic light and would only start if the driver got out of the car, closed the locks on the outside, and then reopened the car and got into it. That's how ridiculous these headphones turned out to be. And this is for 10 thousand. Moreover, the sound was not at the level of much cheaper wired ones and was only slightly better than other wireless ones for 2 thousand. Long story short, I took them back to the store.

Pros
  • - Water resistant - Good ear fitting - Touch control -Indicator -Nice case
Cons
  • The only thing that completely killed this headphone model was the automatic shutdown after 5 minutes of no sound playback. This directly contradicts the manufacturer's claims about the function of the headset. The description of the use of touch controls on stickers and instructions does not give anything, everything has to be studied by the method of typing.
