Cleans tannins AMAZING

First photo: Low water level with extremely heavy tannins coming off the wood. Second photo: the right level of water, the same amount of tannins. It's a bit clearer because the water level is higher. THAT'S WHEN I INSERT THE FILTER (around 3pm). Third photo: Taken a few hours later. A small difference (see back panel), but hardly noticeable. Fourth photo: taken the next morning (about 8:30). It's even clearer live. Honestly, I'm amazed at how quickly it worked. My fish are SO HAPPY. And I'm happy to see them too. The packaging says to change every 2 months or sooner depending on the size of the tank and smell. We have been having problems for at least 4 or 5 months now. First soaked for about 3 days. But it still gave off tannins. It looked just like the 1st picture above. I had to almost completely restart the aquarium (about 2 months ago) with a water change to get clean water again. Thought so, but no. It looked the same as the first photo for about a week. We tried changing the water but to no avail. I found a guy offering this test on YouTube and thought I'd give it a try since it's so cheap. Just amazed. If you have tannins in your water and can't figure out how to get rid of them, try this filter. You will not regret it. Your local pet store or Walmart may also sell this product, and possibly at a lower price. We live in the middle of nowhere, about an hour or more from the nearest pet store. So obviously Revane was the cheapest route for us. But if I lived in the city, I would try all my pet stores first. Just an idea.
