We've tried most products to help prevent black tank and sewer gas odors. This is by far the best buy. But I usually use more than necessary. I pour about 1/2 cup in each sink and shower to make sure the traps are full. Pour a cup or two down the toilet and pour about 1 or 2 inches down the toilet to keep the seal wet. When travelling, there is no longer a smell of sewage gas. This material is thicker than water and seems to hold up better in traps when traveling to keep gases from escaping. I usually use a gall or something during hiking season which I like to use to avoid bad odors.
