Good product, more pros than cons.

So far, I have driven 300 km while being careful to avoid grinding, and I intend to write a review thereafter. Michelin, Continental, and Goodyear tires, for example, don't blow out like balloons, but neither are they made of wood plastic like Bridgestone and Pirelli's offerings. Wears out rapidly, and Nokian gets bumped around despite being medium hard, so they weren't even on Yoku's radar. After spending a week poring over reviews and shopping around, I settled on a set of tires that included the Michelin Pilot Sport 3, the Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 K120, the Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115, the Toyo Proxes CF2, the Dunlop Direzza DZ102, and the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050+. He opted for the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050+ instead of the Mishka because the older model Toyo is iffy in the rain, the Hankuk lacks a side to protect the disk (the older Ventus Prime 1 did), and the directional tread was still swept away because of potential noise.

Pros
  • They are made in Japan, have a medium level of hardness, grip rather well, produce a moderate level of noise, are well balanced, roll a bit more than wood tires but do not compromise steering precision.
Cons
  • Not yet known.
