The first one I bought had the base bent about 0.05" (1/16") all the way to one side and could be about 0.1" (1/8") be rocked back and forth. "). I thought "Maybe it was just bad" sent it back and ordered another one. The next one was a little higher quality, didn't wobble VERY much, still had about 0.02" of back and forth play, which didn't was not at all accurate to .0004" for tooling and dies. There were gaps in the ground cylinders on the ends, grinding sludge all over the vise (seriously can't be cleaned?) The holes were drilled at an angle so the bolts didn't fit sitting flat, the floor cylinders stuck on one side is a .025", the holders that hold it were poorly made and rusty, the aluminum washers were corroded, I wouldn't pay more than $50 for this thing. If you want to use it at home for applications that don't even need to be close this is your vise, but for professional use look no further! :)
