Review on Efficient and Stylish: Brentwood KT-1800 2L Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle by Janet Brown

Calculating the water level is difficult for middle-aged eyes

Despite many positive reviews, this kettle annoys me more than not. Most annoying is trying to see the water level with its narrow indicator bar and tiny imprint just below the handle. My middle-aged eyes aren't happy at all, even with new progressives. I used to have a stainless steel 1.7 Secura that is no longer made. I'm used to a circus tent that opens with the flick of a switch. With this pot, the opening for pouring water is quite narrow. You also need to open it manually. Notably, the lid of this teapot is lined with black plastic, not metal. The nose is also covered with plastic. The boiling time for a full pot of tap water is 8 to 9 minutes. I think it will go to charity if I find something better.
