As I had a previous Sony 4" in-ear monitor (that was eaten by a dog 😤) I have the research I did on it have found, familiar and not disappointed.In fact for PC compositions I recommend this over the others as they offer great sound quality and natural raw sounds to work with rather than unrealistically enhanced headphones intended only for audiophile classical music; This review is for those who are NOT interested in classical music Edm, Rock, Vocals, Pop, Ambient, Podcasting these headphones are 100% fit for the job In the first ten minutes of use I was able to play with the Senty- Playing around with bass and giving it super-smooth textures and colors, which is hard to achieve without distortion and just sounds like a mess if you're not well-equipped already. So if that can polish the crap, that should tell you they're already on the top shelf compared to cheaper brands. I'm used to the way Sony makes monitor headphones, they're not cheap at all, despite what critics say. In my opinion, the cable on them is as good or even better than regular headphones, despite what critics say, but they're meant for a "pure lifestyle". Their design is such that you can easily and comfortably place them in your ears. I wouldn't go with them, in my opinion they are only meant and designed for the studio and composing music. I have been composing music on the computer for 20 years. I'd also recommend hooking up these baddies to something like a FiiO DAC or better if you're really serious about sound quality.
