PROS:* Fits my foot perfectly (Sketchers tend to work well with wide feet)* Good arch support CONS:* Memory foam, upper lacks ventilation to compensate. Outside on foot they are ok but a bit warm. When training in the gym, they were completely soft. Moisture-wicking wool socks keep you from slipping and sweating, but once I did that I was ready to take them off. Problem. I keep coming back to these shoes. The heel stays in place and the toe box is wide enough for me. I get 2 years from a pair I use for everyday plus about 100 miles walking. I think that means about 250 miles of full wear and tear. My weight ranges from 275-315 pounds so I would expect a lighter person to wear them down more. I've tried New Balance and Asics only to find their heel is so low it just slides up and down. These days I've pretty much settled on Sketchers, but I still try a few others if/when Sketchers makes big changes.
