Newbies here. My husband and I have been playing for about 6 weeks. This basket is not too heavy and opens and closes quickly and effortlessly. It's very strong! The chains aren't too heavy and you can still hear that iconic disc golf rattle that I love to hear. I don't mind the canvas top and basket because they are "softer on the rims". The shoulder strap is too thin and cuts into the skin. Given the weight, a thicker, softer strap would have given a 5+ rating. It's only 3 weeks for me. So far no problems. I will update if necessary.
