Review on SmartSwipe Credit Card Reader for Personal Use by Christopher Gonzalez

Bought some time ago and used with Firefox. This worked pretty well until FF started an accelerated update cycle and support couldn't keep up. I switched to Chrome due to excessive FF updates, but this doesn't work with Chrome. I refuse to use IE. Except on the very rare occasions when I'm forced to use it, IE sits idle in my start menu. I've always hated it and still hate it. I recently did a clean reinstall of my OS and programs, and am currently using FF again because Chrome is dropping its sketchy Flash Player situation (most Flash videos won't play in Chrome and I can't find a replacement). Unfortunately SmartSwipe support is still lagging behind and I don't understand why some extensions etc make the transition between updates smooth and SS has to catch up and sort of recertify each time. So they still can't keep up, so the card reader goes back to the back drawer or bin. It's not even heavy enough to make a decent paperweight.
