The motor was giving me a lot of trouble, eventually replaced the coil and this seemed to fix it. My only complaint is that the engine has to be lifted on one side to remove the cover, including the fuel tank. The previous series before this G16 was a simple task of unscrewing a spool and screwing on a new piece. In the course of this I also replaced the fuel lines, fuel pump, carburettor and cleaned the area from 20 years of dirt and grime. I'm not a golfer but this is a good car for quick runs for shopping (2km) and just driving around town, now you don't have to worry about this Yamaha getting stuck in traffic.
