The best DVR ever!

I have bought 3 DVRs so far and this is the best so far. To be honest this is by far the most expensive and it should be better. and it is absolutely true. The recording is much clearer. I installed it so that the DVR was obscured by a mirror from the driver's seat and blocked the windshield no more than the mirror. It just works and the instructions are clear. The only thing I think they could do better is offer a choice of wiring harnesses for connecting to the power supply. It came with one that fits into the cigarette lighter socket and the replacement dash cam was installed with the wiring hidden and hard wired to the fuse box. If they don't want to include two sets of cables, they can offer a choice. I was thrilled to receive and install the DVR only to find that if I had used the wiring that came with it the bare wire would be hanging down. Previous experience of trying to find connectors to adapt the anorexic wiring that came with the dashcam to Hardwire has been unsuccessful. The solution could be to propose either/or or to include both groups. What is included is a lengthy dissertation describing how using different wiring will void any warranty coverage and result in a scorched earth effect affecting the next three generations. I didn't have the patience, I decided to use the existing wiring and so far it's worked fine. Disclaimer: The above description of my personal use of existing wiring is in no way intended to suggest this adaptation for the reader or other observers to replicate. . (If you think about it, I might have learned something by reading the instructions that came with this DVR.) ;)
