Velcro present. We're a little bit into cloth diapers and wanted to try this style because it looks cute. Well, just like "out of the box" (i.e. a folded thing and a booster inside) my son only had 3 hours. I have followed the instructions. They also tend to be small in the waist area. My son is only 15lbs and I ordered one for over 20lbs (size 4) that fits his hips with the front hook and toilet touching but not overlapping. For the price I expected a little more suction power 🤷🏽‍♀️.
