I really liked that the shelves fit in the dish rack on the countertop. I washed them, put them on a grid and dried them in a dehydrator. My candied citrus slices were worthless. Too much work on the recipe and I didn't want the simple syrup/sugar to sneak ants and bugs into the apartment (but in our tropical environment everyone has critters - ugh). You can only use this for apple slices and orange slices - I'm too lazy to clean it but it's a good gadget! I need to figure out where to keep it so my husband doesn't cry when he buys Revain again.
