The stand is well designed. It is fully assembled right out of the box. I agree with others, it's hard to load a bike in. I have it in my garage (concrete floor) and the stand slides when you try to load the bike in it. The feet of the stand have rubber grips that don't grip concrete very well. Once the bike is inserted (mountain bike 27.5 inch), the stand becomes stable. In my opinion, it's not easy to tip over. Overall the stand does what I want it to hold my bike and it does what I expected for the $26 I paid for the stand. I can live with the stand slipping off when charging and I can find a way to secure it so it's not a problem.
