I didn't realize that a touchscreen monitor required BOTH a display cable and a USB port, and I've been in the computer industry for almost 40 years. I assumed that with USB it would support both the monitor and touchscreen with one cable. I was wrong. You need to use two ports on the laptop, a display port and a USB port. I don't think it is apparent from the description. I have a Lenovo Yoga X1 Gen 3 and there are cables everywhere. OTOH it works great and I am very happy with my purchase. Ordered Lenovo Thinkpad USB-C UltraDock and should clean these cables :) I'll keep you posted.
