I'm a roofer and they're almost a must have for cap riders these days. You're just incredibly fast with cap nails. That being said I've played through 3 of these because I usually only carry this hammer to work and they are *not* a substitute for a regular hammer. Ride those about 16th or gutter spikes? Congratulations, your face is horribly disfigured. Want to dive into things? You will break the handle by prying it from the side like I did 4 times. So yes, they are great for driving nails in, but not as good as a regular hammer. I know what you're thinking: don't abuse the tool and you won't have these problems. And this is the truth. Although I have two wishes. First, they're going to make a nail puller version of the hammer, and second, they're going to somehow add better handles to them. (Pretty sure they use hickory, but geez, I seem to break them easily). For your information, you can also order replacement grips. what i just did Again.
