Lights are extremely buggy. whether operating by remote or app. App is almost worthless. hard time connecting lights. I've tried to pair individually. will not work. Weirdly the app will reset the lights which is good when lights do not want to turn-off by remote. You turn-off, they flicker, & come back on. When they are having "their fits" they will not turn off by remote or retain light settings (brightness, color). And others have mentioned, when lights are turned off at light switch, settings are lost. Time will tell about longevity or if they'll burn my place down :(. Very sketch.Update: bought 6 & they haven't been installed a full week & one made a loud pop & started blinking. Took down & something broke inside. This is not good & wondering/scared of the other 5 now. Will return the one but this is a hassle & potential waste of money or worse fire hazard.Update 2: Have had other lights crap out. This makes 4 out of 6 I bought. Another one made a loud pop & wouldn't stop flashing. One flashes for several minutes when 1st turned on then stops & remote doesn't work. Another one just randomly turns off. Very frustrating.Update 3: Make that 5 out of 6 I've had to return. Last one lasted for less than a week again. Again making loud pop then flashing constantly. Unscrewed, rescrewed, turned lights on/off. won't stop flashing. I really wanted these to work but looks like it won't happen. When they are working the color & dimming function is great. So sad.
