Sensors Full of Trash

My original sensor on my 1985 cj7 was reading incorrectly. I replaced the fuel delivery unit first and that helped somewhat, but it still showed almost full until there was about a quarter of a tank left. So I bought one of these as there are no other manufacturers of OEM CJ sensors other than Omix and Crown and Crown doesn't just make a fuel level sensor. It was pretty easy to install in a sensor cluster. When I checked it showed it was well off the full line and my factory temp gauge also went over the full line. I don't want to mess around with the voltage in my 36 year old jeep so I gave Omix a second chance by ordering another one in lieu of a refund. Second installed, the same. So I just turned the factory back on and filled up the jeep every 200 miles or so. The odometer in the glove box is much more reliable than the Chinese Omix gauges.
