I used them to protect a makeshift RV I parked outside a friend's house in Albuquerque. The place is very risky as their previous pop up was stolen from their driveway. Sort of her fault as all she used was a padlock to protect him. I'm not even a thief and can remove the lock with a grinder in 10-30 seconds and be out of there in less than a minute. I protect my pop up with these boots, zip and case. Have fun trying to remove these three things thieves! These boots are significantly heavier than a padlock and have a good delay mechanism. It would take a thief about 5 minutes with surgical precision and an angle grinder to safely remove them, I believe. You couldn't be violent with the boots, like hitting them with the sled, because they would scratch the tires with their spikes, which would likely blow the tire out. So I'm not sure why other people are having so many setup issues. this one, as I found it rather trivial. Do an initial size and everything for your hoop and then basically close everything. It works and it's direct. I can install and disassemble them in about 30 seconds. There are two things I dislike most about the design: 1. The buttons are wrong. Sold as a set, the keys should be the same I think.2. The seal on the round plate is not glued. It's easy to lose the seal temporarily when the covers move around the RV when towing. I thought I lost one of the pads for a while. Would I buy again.-CR
