Lamps can be installed backwards.
This product turned out to be good when I decided to install a bar light. Since they are LED, positive and negative should be correct. The lamps were installed upside down and it took me a while to figure out why they weren't working. Other reviewers try cutting the ground terminal off the white wire and connecting it to the black one, but all you have to do is rotate the bulbs 180 degrees to swap the terminals. After I changed them, everything worked. Check the pluses and minuses before installing on a trailer.
