Installation and commissioning takes less than 15 minutes. I have a textured top and was concerned about the grip of these little rolls and their ability to hold the chord, but I'm beyond impressed. I don't feel them tugging on the cable at all and I don't hear any noise. from them when I play (the sound they make is very quiet). The only thing I would say is that the cord sometimes sits on top of my head or wraps around my neck if I move too much, but it's much better than interfering with my hands or stepping on or pulling on it . And it's great that I don't have such a light weight on one side of my head when I'm playing for hours. I only hit it with my hands when trying to climb in games like Boneworks or trying to shoot arrows at a dragon in Skyrim. Definitely a must-have for anyone using a wired headset.
