The cameras are clear and the monitor is well darkened. It took a bit of work to set up the cameras, but there are many screen configurations where the rear camera fills the screen when I'm backing up. I mentioned customer service. First, I ordered the wrong kit, where all four cameras were supposed to be installed horizontally. I saw that customer support is via email and thought it would take some time to resolve this issue. I was surprised when I received an email the next day authorizing Revain to take the entire set back for a full refund. I ordered the correct kit but I have a trailer so I had to hook up the wiring so I could unhook the trailer. If I had read the entire booklet, I would have known that additional cables would be shipped for such an installation. Like an idiot I figured I could just cut the wire and solder the connectors. Do not try, this wire cannot be used in this way. I emailed them again and offered to buy 8 cables. Again a quick response and they sent me the requested cables free of charge. During this whole mess I must have sent 25 emails which they always answered the next business day. I am very happy with my current setup and would buy from them again without a problem.
