For those who are wondering, no, it does not have the same effect as an intravenous infusion in terms of immediate effect. The upside of this product is that it tastes good, I ordered the berry flavor and when you get the ouch it can help replenish the electrolyte loss. Water is life, but sometimes we need an extra boost and this can help. It should be noted that this is for an 8 ounce glass of water. So when you put the packet in a 16.9 ounce water bottle, the flavor is bland, but as a support it's good.
