I am very disappointed with this curling iron. It just arrived today. I brought it in a box, the inside of the box wasn't even sealed so you could open and access the curling iron straight from the inner box without opening it. I pocketed it. It beeped and then just kept flickering. I disconnected it, tried again, connected as you saw in my video, the bottom mechanism which I think is shorted and flickering. I followed all the instructions and held it for two to three seconds then when it hits 4:10 and blocks the advice for that temp as soon as you lift it up like shorts from the bottom and take it off again I have for a spare and give back that cabbage. I will try again but I am very disappointed. I just don't trust it because it's an item that heats up. I don't want it shorting out or starting a fire.
