Not a good fit for RV usage

Pro:It appears to be very sturdy and well made (other than the incorrectly wired outlet issue noted by many other reviewers - I didn't bother to check that since I hardwired it.Negatives:The fan is fairly loud and never turns off when connected to shore power. Other brands I've seen will only turn on the fan when actually charging or generating power. It is pretty large in size for its output. If you are limited on space check the dimensions. The power button is kind of weird. You have to hold it down for a second or two, if you press it shorter than that it lights up and starts to come on, but then shuts off like something is wrong with it. It isn't really a big deal once you know, but if you don't know that then you might think it is DOA.No remote is available, at least I couldn't find one. There is an adapter to let your phone control it.I purchased this inverter for an RV trailer, and found that it isn't really designed for that use case. The inverter is permanently in UPS mode (ie. default to inverter on when shore power drops. It does not have a setting to make it default to inverter off when shore power is disconnected. When you unplug from shore power, it immediately starts the inverter - if you forget to then go turn off the inverter you'll probably arrive at your destination with an empty battery.

Pros
  • The AC charger is capable of efficiently charging batteries, ensuring that your power supply is constantly topped up and ready to go
Cons
  • The product’s voltage regulation is poor, resulting in frequent power surges and fluctuations
