Review on Murata SR920W Battery Silver Button by Negil Dunnigan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works with watches that require more current or power (using 370 instead of 371)

I finally found a battery that works with my Skagen. I tried another battery, 371 SR920SW, but it turned out that despite good voltage, the performance was not enough to power the clock. So I tried this 370 SR920W which should deliver a higher current especially for chronograph style watches. It seemed to be working so far. The downside is that there is no expiration date on the packaging, so I don't know the expiration date. I can only assume this will be a good thing, if only because Murata started making batteries in 2019, which means they're less than a year old, so I'm assuming they're pretty good are new.

Pros
  • Murata exemplifies a long tradition of Japanese quality micro batteries with high performance and reliability
Cons
  • not reliable
