Review on ๐ŸŒฒ Paine's Balsam Fir Incense Refill - 70 Sticks, 2 Inches in Length by Chris Tobin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So it's NOT exactly "campfire memories ", though. it's close enough!

For those of us old enough to go to Adventure 16 in West Los Angeles in the 1970's ----- you too may remember that glorious scent that hit you, as soon as you enter this door :) . I only have 1 "Campfire Memories Incense" left ---- and I'm definitely not going to burn it to see if "THIS" matches my awesome memory of what I was 5 years old , OR even with my memories of not "it" being too long ago (or so it seems). I'll probably save that "1 wand" for the day when I expect to die a natural death ;)) However (even after the "smells like burning bushes" reviews) I have to say that it memories come close to these senses. last days. THIS IS NOTHING close to "evil burning leaves" as some say! I think it's a more subtle scent that should remind you of good old Campfire Memories incense sticks. or even outdoors / campfire. Again, not the same ---- but close enough to Campfire Memories! Soothing, fragrant and at least evokes the thought of being outdoors. I also have the original Campfire Memories box!), I looked at the "ingredients" and it says "fir, balm, cedar". I think that might be an issue for those of us who want something different. CEDAR is missing (and I couldn't find the one that was found). They contain only fir and balsam --- NO cedar. BUT they are CLOSE enough not to puzzle over it. like I said IT IS NEAR it seems/I think (and let's be honest folks - there isn't another choice/opening I haven't found yet). So yeah, you can think differently and totally disagree with me :) **(maybe someone can share their best find that compares to "Memories by the fire"?) **Yes, cedar has $$$ now $ uses ------- so NO SURPRISE, there's no cedar in this one. BUT like I said --- IT IS NEAR! It'll be a hit for those looking for those sweet "campfire memories" in a simple incense stick. but if you are desperate ----- I would try; I personally"decently" satisfied. Ignore the bad reviews and grab some (even a small pack) to see for yourself. Burn a few, let the smell linger, leave the room, then come back. I did and I'm pretty decently surprised. so yes, LUCKY enough! It's definitely not just "burning leaves". Frankincense can be such a personal thing. I find some Frankencense annoying and others not so annoying. My favorite brand AND STILL HERE (even since CampMems left) ------ THIS MUST ring the bell for many (my years) is "Incienso De Santa Fe". They also existed a long time ago and THERE ARE MORE! But unfortunately even if you choose them, you won't even find anything like "Campfire Memories" underneath them (I usually take w-Mesquite, Cedar, Pine just for the comforting feeling of memories / and prefer now). PS: Juniper isn't bad either, but "may need to work on its taste". Have you ever heard of the BIC lighter? ALSO TRY to spend a little more time slowly rotating the wand where it is in the flame. YES - it may take a little longer than opening the latest YouTube video on your phone! YES folks, the incense will LIT and STAY LIT when someone issues the required "due time request". 2) Try hiking and enjoy it. The world really doesn't end without your phone! Don't believe me try to watch jumani movie 2020! Yes, you can actually survive a week without communicating with the rest of the world! And hey, you can get better by doing this too. 3) If you've tried the above (and still hate it) ------- please don't name something "burning leaves" in a review for everyone to read when the rest of you are trying something to find "Special". And 4) IF you DON'T like street smells (or any of the other things you'll find here on amzn), there are much better ways to put your words into action to say so. There's no need to literally throw something away because "mine" doesn't like it! Personally I am very happy, even satisfied, to purchase this item-----because it smells good to me, not to mention it's that close to a childhood + adult life memory that rocked my world, but sadly not anymore as possible comes exists. PS: I now use (for fire safety reasons to avoid accidents) the following Smudge Bowls for ALL MY LAMINE BURNING NEEDS (and love them) which can also be found here on Amazon: Stone New Age Source Zen Gray --> https: //www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GY0TNGC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=12) Triloka Dreamtime Gecko Bowl --> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0065S2VB2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00 ?ie=UTF8&psc=1
