I bought the dress for a formal event, and had to return it because it wasn't the color I expected-- I ordered the baby blue and it was a bit more green than I'd anticipated. I'll be reordering it in another color.The dress itself is a somewhat heavy material, but is fairly see-through, especially when stretched in any way. This might be less of a problem with lighter colors but I guess I'll find out with my re-order. I'm 5'2" 110lbs (32A), and the dress felt mostly secure when tied and fell at a reasonable length. Anyone more endowed than I would probably want some body tape, a sticky bra, or a bandeau to wear underneath this dress as it's a little bit insecure when styled in most of the ways I could find online.In addition, there are seams on the ties that fell a bit below my shoulders and really made the dress look cheaper. I don't quite understand why these seams exist.Overall, the dress is what you pay for but I recommend darker colors and extra precautions.
