Review on πŸŽ’ CamelBak Skyline LR 10 Bike Hydration Backpack with Crux Lumbar Reservoir - 100 oz by Robert Tirona

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for running. It's like they pulled the design out of my head!

Haven't fully tested this yet, but so far so good! I've been using the Camelbak FlashFlo (belt pack, 50-ounce tank) for a while (14 years? more?) for training runs up to about 13 miles. Also, I've either timed my runs by having a place to stop and refill (sometimes at home) or used a backpack-style Camelbak (2 or 3 liters). When running with a backpack, I thought about how it should be better for running. A good waist belt is key to getting the weight on the hips and not the shoulders. I was wondering if it would be possible to turn the tank sideways to lower the center of gravity. I wanted to be able to tighten the backpack while drinking to avoid unnecessary movement. I wanted to be able to carry additional items (e.g. phone, keys, groceries). Skyline LR meets all of these requirements. The belt can be tightened on the go. My iPhone 8 fits on my belt and can be taken on and off while running. Large storage pocket on the back plus a smaller one for keys and other items. After a while I return to normal running. I've only tried it on a 4 mile run so far and I've had absolutely no problems with it. I also think it will be a great backpack for a day trip too.

Cons
