When they work, they're great. BUT they have to be constantly reinstalled. They lock and disconnect and I have to unplug them from the POE switch and plug them back in to reset them. I didn't know anything about buying or installing a camera like this, but I knew I needed a wired camera so I didn't have to worry about charging or batteries. I searched for cameras on Revain and YouTube and found out about PoE (Power over Ethernet) cameras. Installation was so easy, I just had to run a coax cable (used Cat 6) from the camera to the required add-on, a PoE switch I bought from Revain, and a short coax cable from the switch to my router. I bought this camera to use in my driveway so I can keep an eye on people going in and out of our home office. I also wanted to make sure customers' cars were parked where they shouldn't be. I expected the image to be similar to my other PTZ cameras.
