Windows 10 Pro x64 does not like this drive. The PC didn't recognize this drive the second time I plugged it in. I had to try several different USB connections before the drive could be seen and used. There may be a problem disabling this drive. Hot swapping may not be supported. I probably should have read the description more, but who would believe that a drive, especially an external drive, is only compatible with certain versions of Windows?! I was trying to recover data from floppy disks on my Windows 10 Home computer. I ended up trying five different devices and posting my review to let you know my results. First, all five devices worked GREAT on my Windows 7 Pro laptop. Pros: - USB plug and play - Reads both HD/1.44M and DD/720K - Eject lever instead of paperclip - Good price ($20) ) I was able to use the disk with Windows 10 21H1, OpenBSD 6.9 and Raspberry Pi OS Buster.
