Windows 10 Pro x64 does not like this drive. The PC didn't recognize this drive the second time I plugged it in. I had to try several different USB connections before the drive could be seen and used. There may be a problem disabling this drive. Hot swapping may not be supported. Use the doggy to remove Windows hardware. I used this drive to transfer a stack of old floppy disks to my computer. My computer is running Windows 10 Pro x64. There were no problems transferring my files. The PC saw the drive as soon as it was plugged into the USB 3.0 port. The drive makes typical drive noise, but the transfer rate is fast. A floppy was unreadable the first time it was put into the drive, but I took it out and put it back in the drive and the second time the drive read the floppy normally. The floppy disks are from the year 2000. I no longer use this drive after migrating my disk inventory, so long-term reliability cannot be rated. Please note that this drive does not come with drivers or documentation. The box says it comes with a CD with drivers and instructions, but it didn't. There is also no contact information for the manufacturer. If you had a problem you would have to send it back to Revane.
