Manufacturing defect

First of all, I haven't worn this backpack while riding, although I think it's great after filling it up and fastening it. - Manufacturing defect: one of the shoulder straps was placed on the wrong side of the hip belt. Very poor quality control. If it wasn't for the design and the fun to drive I would have sent it back, the Osprey has a much better quality feel. Aside from returning it, the only way to fix this was to cut off the velcro mount and thread the buckle the opposite way. I tried to…

Great for running. It's like they pulled the design out of my head!

Haven't fully tested it yet, but so far so good! As a long-distance runner who sweats a lot (more than anyone I know), I've used Camelbak FlashFlo (waist pack, 50 ounce tank) for training runs up to about 13 miles for a while (14 years? more?). Also, I've either timed my runs by having a place to stop and refill (sometimes at home) or used a backpack-style Camelbak (2 or 3 liters). When running with a backpack, I thought about how it should be better for running. A good waist belt is key to…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance

My new favourite: Camping

I have left backpacks in the dust for a long time. They'll make you sweat, bang against your helmet on steep terrain, and hurt your back on long rides, especially with a traditional reservoir sitting between your shoulder blades. I switched to fanny packs that fit water bottles and decidedly preferred them as I vowed never to use a backpack again. However, for REALLY long trips, a bum bag just wasn't good enough. Not enough water supplies, not enough food supplies. I saw the Camelbak Skyline LR

Pros
