bad design. Begins to break down after 6 months.

I really wanted to love this shoe. I'm a runner who prefers flats and hates a lot of padding in the heel. So when I found these XC 7 cleatless shoes I was very excited. Smart looking flat shoes that I could wear as a casual shoe and as a running shoe in the evening. I bought them from New Balance's website in June 2018 for $84. I got lots of compliments on them and they were so new that when I went to the New Balance store a couple of times afterwards their own staff asked me where I bought them. her. However, this all started to fade as they were used more and more, in October/November small tears started to appear on the outside of the shoe (which luckily didn't extend to the inside) and then tears right where the upper part is merging with the sole and finally this month (January 2019) the sole on the right shoe starts to fall apart. although I wrote a relevant (softer) review on the New Balance website and then tweeted it. Lest you think I'm trying to bankrupt the company I actually have 3 New Balance models: this one, the 1400v5 and the lugless XC900 which I'm very happy with so far. certain shoes to turn people away from New Balance products in general (which I find pretty impressive). Much luck!

Pros
  • Scarpette davvero eccellenti e ad un conpetitivo prezzo!
Cons
  • Advanced Skill and Preparation Required: Although this shoe is designed for cross-country running, it requires prior skill and preparation for spike running. Customers who are new to trail running may not know how to use spikes properly, which can result in injury or lack of performance enhancement. This can deter buyers looking for beginner shoes.
