This mascara makes it easy to get thin long lashes, but it takes a little practice. With a careful hand, this can create a natural yet flattering look. For best results, I recommend scraping excess mascara off the brush into the bottle to avoid clumping like you would with any other mascara. However, this mascara is not "waterproof" as a few drops of water easily rub off and smudge. Its waterproof formula also helps the product dry faster, so the regular, non-waterproof version of this product is your best bet. Unless you're looking for something that holds and lasts better than the original product, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for waterproof mascara.
