At work I need to scan material requests from a QR catalogue. Initially, I used the app with a modest subscription. The problem is that in order for this application to become an input device, I had to grant full access, which means that all credit card lookup numbers, passwords, etc. were potentially visible to the developer. Bluetooth scanner is efficient, faster than typing and more secure. There's a foldout sheet with various configuration barcodes, which I thought was clever. You can even double-click the scan button to open the keyboard if your QR code isn't working. My only criticism is that it's not immediately clear how to turn it off. (Just hold down the scan button for about 10 seconds.) Also, the buttons are so small that I often accidentally turn them on in my backpack. never mind
