Review on 🔧 ATD Tools 8629 Wheel Hub Removal Tool - Replacement for All Axle Bolt Hubs (5, 6 and 8 Lug Hubs) by Jim Booth

Purchased to remove a 6 bolt wheel bearing assembly from a 2004 RWD Silverado steering knuckle. tried everything else and emptied a can of pbblaster within a week. had high hopes for this based on the youtube video, what a joke. The only thing that comes loose is the tool, again and again, hitting it at least 30 times with a 20# sledgehammer and on the 3rd hit the nuts come loose, I ended up using eyebolts, it doesn't matter the the hit only loosens the nuts, no base anyway. Since it is peeled off in the field, the fist should be taken to the machine shop with a press. Save time and money when there is rust, you need access to a press or just a new steering knuckle for a new bearing hub. oh, and it's chinese, not domestic.
