I haven't installed it yet because the written instructions say it should be installed 4 feet off the ground. On a big truck it would be easy, but on my big Lincoln Town Car sedan it would be on top of the trunk or on the roof. It's a big, solid unit, but I can't see a good place to mount it other than in the trunk or under the rear bumper a foot off the ground, neither of which are likely loud enough. I'll do a rough test, but I think I need to reset it and get a much smaller backup beep instead of the white noise beep I wanted.
