Doesn't stick well to fabrics

Purchased to fix a boat cover. Adhesion was poor, all edges came off. The thickness was ok. But if it doesn't hold up very well, it doesn't matter, I'd be better off just using gorilla tape.

Non-stick cloth tape makes an instant difference

This product is waste. Doesn't stick to anything. As you try to put it on it starts to rise and doesn't stick. Departs immediately. I would not recommend this product at all. Just waste of money and time

If I could have zero stars I would give it

. Product does not work as described. I used it in my camp for small holes in the canvas and the tape came off the next day. Doesn't work, don't waste your money. Didn't get a chance to try it by my return date so I just lost money.

waste of money. - Awnings

Bought for a convertible top, does not hold on the tarp and almost not on the glass. The description mentioned boats so I figured it might work. Also does not work with small above ground pools. Had a small hole about the size of a quarter, inserted this tape inside and outside of the hole. Still in flow. What a waste

Doesn't stick at all

I bought this item based on the reviews. It came with no instructions so I decided to tape and tape it up. At first it seemed to work, but it didn't get stuck for more than 48 hours. I gave it 2 stars for "ease of use" but would rather give it 0 stars because I wasted money on something that didn't work at all.

Not suitable for Sunbrella fabric

The thread on our Sunbrella awning was frayed but the fabric was fine. After removing the fabric and cleaning the seams with soap and water, I applied Tear Mender to the seams. I chose this tape for the tear mender repair fuse. It seemed like it should work. It hardly stuck to the material. As soon as I put the lid back on and the sun hit the dark green fabric, the ribbon almost fell off. I'm sure it worked for a few things, but it didn't work with our canopy material.

Didn't work best in awnings

I bought this to patch a small hole in my tent. I cleaned the area thoroughly before applying the tape. I taped the inside and outside and left it for 24 hours before checking again to see if it was loose or snug and wasn't actually sticking to the point where I had to sew the tape to the fabric just so I had something . some kind of barrier over the hole. I would not recommend building a tent. It seems like it was very strong and it was thick tape but I don't think tent material is what it can

It didn't keep its promise.

The tape was terrible. The product was advertised as tape for repairing boat tarpaulins. It doesn't work and I'm very disappointed. I've tried other store bought tapes (which didn't work either). I saw this tape and decided to give it a try. I stick the tape over the hole in the boat's dry tarpaulin. It started raining and the tape flew off the repaired spot. I still had tape on the roll so I tried to fix it again. I let the cover dry and sealed the same hole with tape. It fell after the rainโ€ฆ
