Review on Scosche SS69 Universal 🔊 1 inch 6x9 Speaker Spacer Set by Tarrance Man

I ordered them to put the speakers in the doors without bumping into the window frame. The problem is they don't have the means to install the gasket. I assume they expect you to use very long screws to go through the speaker, then through the gasket, and then into the mounting surface. On one side is a mounting surface for the speaker, on the other just a ring with no space for screws, double sided tape, nothing. I bought them a month ago and still haven't used them, instead I bought a set of boxes from my local audio store and put them behind the seats. This will work until I get my subs. I'm hoping that by then I'll be motivated to try to secure her with some kind of solid anchorage. ***Update*** I finally used a set of 1.5" screws to install them through the speakers. ok but the screws are ugly and i can't mount my bars on them. Also, they don't line up with the screw holes on the speakers, and the jl c2 6.5" I have doesn't fit in without heavy mods. I expected more from skosh :/
