***UPDATE*** The chain (link) of the replacement collar broke, fell off the collar and our dog ran away. I am very dissatisfied with this product. Every link must be protected and secured. A 43 pound dog shouldn't break it. This incident could have ended very badly if my neighbor hadn't noticed her and lured her back by letting his dog loose. I am very disappointed - a waste of good money and I will not buy this again. - Our Border Collie X has a white neck that turns pink when the collar (or her fur) gets wet. I also want the metal chain to be covered so her neck doesn't turn black. Second, she has a 13" neck, so I ordered a 12" collar. She managed to wrap her mouth around him and gnaw the collar to pieces. So I ordered a 10" collar. It's a bit small and needs some work so I can get it on and off her head. Seems tangled when the chain moves, that would be an improvement.
