I did a lot of research before purchasing this item. I hoped I wouldn't need such a powerful lamp. I'm glad I chose this one. So far I have used Gellen brand nail polishes. Curing time is approximately 120 seconds plus per coat when dual curing. I'm still playing around to see if the shorter cure time works. The lamp is lightweight and easy to use. It does not remember the previous curing time setting as stated. You have to press the button every time. There is no display at the top to show that 80W is on. You can tell from the brightness of the lamp whether you have activated double brightness or not. I bought UV gloves. I used to paint my nails a few times a year, so the exposure didn't bother me. Now that I have it at home I know I will be using it more often.
