Common RAM, good for building a workstation. But, I would not suggest it for a gaming PC. It's recommended that gamers spend the extra $200-$300 on heatsink-equipped memory modules like the Crucial Ballistix or Kingston HyperX. They are silently effective on 11-11-11-28 at 2022 MHz. There are benefits: At the stated (base) frequency and timings, it functions flawlessly. Cons: It's not very chasing, to put it bluntly. We were only able to get 1600 MHz on 11/10/9/28 and 1670 MHz on 11/11/28 out of it. One of the two bars did function at 1770 MHz on 11-11-11-28, but it's not very helpful given that 4 GB is woefully inadequate for a modern computer.
