Review on πŸ”Œ TP-Link KL60 Smart Assistant, Compatible with Filament Bulbs by Tania Parks

Very happy with IoT reliability

Currently using two of these lamps with two O'Bright industrial floor lamp holders in my home office. I am incredibly happy with the purchase based on the overall reliability of the smart bulbs. I have used other smart lighting products from YEELight (Xiaomi), LIFX, NanoLeaf, and Wyze Bulbs and have had reliability issues during the pairing process, firmware updates, or daily use of turning lights on and off with Google Home. These lamps from TP-Link have worked flawlessly so far. The Kasa app is intuitive, responsive and easy to use. Will post updates as my experience with its reliability changes. The light turns off on command and turns on automatically in the morning according to my scheduling rules in the Kasa app. I am very happy. * Updated 01/15/2021: After 2 months, a lightbulb stopped responding to voice commands and was not available in the Kasa app. After resetting the lamp (turning the lamp on and off), it reconnected and responded again. Distracted by the star. * The price of the lamp is much cheaper than RGB lamps, but not ordinary LED lamps. In terms of brightness, the lamp is 100% too bright to look at directly, since the body is not frosted, I run it at 75%. Please note that these bulbs are for ambiance/appearance rather than pure utility light. The maximum lumen output is only around 400 (that's about half of what most LED bulbs achieve these days). Personally, the color temperature (2K) is too yellow for me - I don't like working in candlelight. I use them to bring some light into the dark corners of my room but still use an overhead light that approaches 2.7K.
