I had a BCH refill and used it on my previous printer for 7 years with no problems but the printer has reported that he ran out of ink when he didn't. I have just used the new kit on my HP3830 and am very disappointed with it and even more so with the BCH online guide. There is a syringe but no needle for it or a clean way to inject ink. There are vials with needles, but the video shows using a syringe and adding 5ml, but there is no mark on the vial. This set also has a lot less ink than the previous set and I used most of the black ink on just 2 XL cartridges.
